Cinemaware Online Privacy Policy

Cinemaware ("Cinemaware") is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all visitors to our web site. By using this site, you signify your assent to the Cinemaware, Inc. Online Privacy Policy described below. If you do not agree with this policy, do not provide any personally identifiable information to us.

Collection of Information

Cinemaware does not require that visitors reveal any personally identifying information in order to access our main site.

Although information may be required to participate in certain promotions, technical support or sales offered through our web site, participants are requested to provide information on a voluntary basis only. Some situations in which we may need to collect personal information about you include:

Registering at www.cinemaware.com is free and grants the member certain rights, which may include, but are not limited to, discount offers, game news, new product announcements and more. An additional option to "opt-in" to have this information shared with some of Cinemaware's promotional partners and/or licensed software publishers may also be provided. No information will be shared with outside parties unless you choose this option. Please note that Cinemaware may share collected information with its business partners (such as software publishers, retailers, and developers) who in turn shall only use such information for the same purposes as set forth above.

Children

We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role to protect the privacy of their children and to prevent inappropriate use of information about their children. Parents and guardians should instruct their children never to give out real names or any other identifying information over the Internet without first getting parental permission. Cinemaware will not collect information through our website from people 12 and under, without prior parental/guardian permission. Cinemaware will not accept any information from you if you are 12 or under without first receiving your parent or guardian's written permission. Cinemaware will remove any information provided by children from the system upon the request of the child or the parent or guardian.
